Q:  Why would I want to come to Forks Community Church?

A:  We are a real church that offers real hope for real people.  We want people to come as they are.  As a church we strive to Reproduce disciples, Engage our community, practice Authenticity, and Live by the truths of God’s eternal and relevant word, the Bible.  We welcome you wherever you are on your spiritual journey!

Q:  What should I expect?

A:  Since we don’t meet in a church building our service has more of contemporary “feel” to it.  Our service lasts about one hour and 15 minutes.  We will spend time singing together, praying together, and learning practical truths for everyday life from the Bible.  Please take a moment to review some of our past message series and maybe even listen to a message or two!

Q:  What should I wear?

A:  Most of the congregation, including Pastor Tim, dresses casually.

Q:  What about the use of smart phones and tablets?

A:  We encourage the use of social media during the service for the following functions:  1) Check in.  Engage your social network and let them know you are worshiping with Forks Community Church!, 2) to use a Bible app, 3) to post sermon quotes to your favorite social media platform, and 4) to take notes.

Q:  Where do the kids go?

A:  We provide nursery for infants and toddlers 0-3 years old.  We also provide Children’s Church for kids 4 years of age and older.  Children begin in the worship service for singing and prayer and then are dismissed prior to the sermon.

Q:  How often is the Lord’s Supper (communion) celebrated?

A:  We partake of the Lord’s Supper the 1st Sunday of each month.

Q:  How can I serve?

A:  Call or email Pastor Tim if you would like to get involved. He would be happy to meet with you over a cup of coffee to discuss how Forks Community Church and you can serve together.

Q:  Do you have membership?

A:  As a mission church of the Bible Fellowship Church, we have a Committed Participant Roll in preparation for becoming an established self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propogating church.  To inquire about the qualifications of a committed participant, click here.  To apply as a committed participant click here.  To transfer membership from a Bible Fellowship Church, click here.
