Have you thought about what CHANGE you would like to see in your life? Besides the normal resolutions to lose weight or spend less, have you given any thought to what CHANGE God wants to see in your life in the new year?

What if I told you I already know?
I know because God tells us in John 17:17, Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. Here, Jesus prays for his disciples to be “set apart” or made holy by the truth. In other words, God deeply desires us to live Jesus-shaped lives. Such CHANGE happens as we give ourselves to God’s Word, the Bible, by reading, understanding, and acting on it.
As part of our upcoming message series on the Bible, I want to encourage each and every one of you to commit to reading the Bible every day. Yes, you will become informed, which is crucial to discipleship. More importantly, you will be transformed!
Don’t know where to start?
We’ll provide some sample Bible reading plans for you at the info table. Or, if you like to read on an electronic device, check out the You Version Bible app. I use it for my personal reading and I love it. Use whatever tool is best for you and your growth.
We’re approaching a year of change. It’s a fresh start to see God transform the old you into a whole new you.
Rom. 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.
